I had burnt cheese in my cheese steak bowl, and it looked like burnt chocolate pudding skin. 1st time to this particular WH, but I will return to give it another try. I am a big fan of waffle House as a "guilty pleasure" of some not so healthy food. Always ordered the same thing, the bacon Texas cheesesteak melt! I'm not a fan of bread, and was delighted when they turned it into a scramble bowl; which I add bacon to, and some waffle sauce for a little kick. The bowl version has been delicious 90% of the time, including all 3 locations I've had it.

The staff was ok there kept cussing alot and there area wasnt very clean, they where really busy tho. The food was excellent tho!

Absolutely loved it. Jenni was so polite and funny. She constantly asked about how we liked the food, but not to the point to where it was annoying. The cook even offered to remake hashbrowns that got a little bit overdone. Will go back again for sure!!

Good food, diner style, great prices. Ordered a burger at 7am, and they didn't even blink. It was delish.

The best cheesy eggs and good service. They even grilled my tomatoes!! Anxious to go back as we eat breakfast for lunch or supper!!

Great food and wonderful staff. I always enjoy Waffle House. Everyone was friendly and we all shared a few laughs during the meal.

I have never been disappointed with the service and food here. Its quick if your only alllowed a hour lunch break. Its priced affordable. Always up for a waffle house meal!!

The staff is rude and takes your order and co tues talking to other employees not paying attention to there guests for coffee refills. I got fried egg bacon and pecan waffles and had to send my eggs back 3 different times cause the whites by the yolk was not done and slimy then my waffles was to hard to eat from over cooking them.

Food cooked to order. But very cold and extremely loud. Unable to have a conversation. Not a place to relax and enjoy your meal. Prices are reasonable and quality was great. My mother was so chilled we had to hurry and finish.

They are fast and the breakfast was good. Bacon was a bit burn but it was ok

I liked going here with my husband but since he is gone now I have to visit the different places we use to go. It is a good place to go eat at I just miss going with him to all of the places. I sat on the side he always sat on.

Not to bad. Food was good. But found a hair in my wife's sweet tea... Waitress done nothing about it except ask if we wanted a different glass. But still charged is for the tes after we said no on anymore tea

Skylar was my waitress. I only found this out when a coworker called her that since she had a fake name on her name tag. She was very rude to her coworkers, only showing a fake smile whenever she approached my table. She said she was going to "gouge her eyes out" and a table across from me heard her as well and we shared a shocked look. For a place like waffle house to have waitresses like her doesn't sound right. I don't usually like giving bad reviews if I feel the restaurant doesn't deserve it, but her attitude and aura gave the whole building a grosser feeling.

Dirty and FREEZING inside. I asked what the temp was set at and was told “the manager likes it at 65 degrees because he gets hot easily”. This manager was wearing long sleeves. I’m glad he’s comfy at work. So we have to find a new place to eat. I used to come here at least twice a week. Omelet was sloppy and our waitress was late to work, so we had 3 different servers. The Kansas Waffle House might be the worst in Springfield. Giving national a try from now on.

The absolute best Waffle House in town! Good food, fun, friendly employees, and accommodating atmosphere. They are happy to help find allergy-friendly options, or even to turn down the music for those who are sound-sensitive.

The staff here are wonderfully. For the most part it was a good breakfast, but the coffee wasn't really good. I ordered waffles with a side of bacon and it was really good.

30 minutes waiting to even have our order taken and people after us got food ,then they ask us ,"what do you want to eat?..". We left..

Food was good. Service was awful, I have gone there in the morning and the staff is somewhat better than at night, I had a male server and he either was in a bad mood or he was racist or just talked too fast for me to understand what he was asking me. He gave me the impression that I was a burden to serve or to be there. He messed up my order as well. I will not come back at night there again. Thank you Mathias.

Very kind personable workers. Breakfast was great and prepared quickly and just the right amount of food to get you full. My meal was almost to much to handle. Overall great friendly service.

Service was fast and food was good like always but the server was very short and unpersonable.. Didnt talk kinda made me feel like I was an inconvienece for being there and we were the only people in the restraunt. Coffee tasted burnt and when I ask for more only got a half a cup of more burnt coffee.. Normally waffle house is on point with their service but definitely not tonight

My family and I enjoy going to Waffle House in every town we visit. I don’t post reviews very often. Only when I am either really impressed or the complete opposite. This location I am posting about was amazing. Very friendly, and the ladies seemed to be having fun which made the experience even better. Will definitely visit here again.

I normally love eating at Waffle House. This was the worst one I’ve ever been to. Bacon was somewhat warmed up(not cooked very long). All 4 orders of hashbrowns was burnt. The waitress Katie did a good job. I won’t stop here again I’ll go to a different Waffle House. N Kansas Expressway in Springfield isn’t the place to eat.

Sat in there for 15 minutes no menu no drinks. No service period. Left and no one said a thing. Went up the street to ihop ..better service. Better food.

Same basic comfort food at a good price. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love the raisin toast. Hate the cold air blowing on me. But it's a great place for a warm breakfast.

Hard to beat the All-Star breakfast on bang per buck.
